          Finding the meaning of life is an important discussion that is often delivered by motivational speaking. In fact they are so stressed how important it is to know the meaning of life. Because to understand the meaning of life that we can live a more meaningful and more motivated. Then, there are training sessions that lead us to discover the meaning of our lives.

          To find the true meaning of life, then we need to refer to the references that vouch for which no other is the Quran which is the word of Allah, Turn all humans. Of course, God Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala knows best about our lives, including the meaning of our lives.

First: Life is Pray

In essence, the meaning of life in Islam is to worship. The existence of our world is nothing else just to worship God. Meaning of worship is of course true sense of worship, does not mean only prayer, fastidiousness, charity, and pilgrimage, but worship in every aspect of our lives.

"And I have not created the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me." (Surah Adh Dzaariyaat: 56)

Second: Life Is a Test

Allah says in Surat Al-Mulk [67]: 2 english ver,

"(Allah) which makes death and life, that He may test you, who among you a better charity, and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving."

God will test people through the following matters in accordance with QS Al Baqarah [2]: 155-156,

"And indeed, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, lack of wealth, lives and fruits, and give glad tidings to those who patiently, (ie) those who, when misfortune befall, they say:" lillaahi wa inna innaa ilaihi raaji'uun "."

Third: Life in the Hereafter Better than Life in the World

Surat Al 'Imran [3]: 14, "made beautiful in (view) of human devotion to anything one wants, namely: women, children, treasures of gold, silver, horses, animals -  cattle and paddy fields. That's the pleasure of living in the world, and in Him are the place back good (Paradise). "

Surah Adh Dhuha [93]: 4, "and indeed days later (Hereafter) is better for you than it is now (beginning)."

Fourth: Life Is a While

Surah al-Mu'min [40]: 39, God said, "O my people, the real life of this world is pleasure (temporary) and indeed that is the land of eternal afterlife."

Surah al-Anbiya [21]: 35, "Every soul shall taste death. We will test you with evil and goodness as a trial (in truth) and just to Us you shall be returned. "

Once you understand the meaning of life, then the next step is to align live with the meaning of life. This is what will make our lives more meaningful. If we are wrong sense of life, then what meaning can we get out of this alive?

1. If life is worship, then make sure all our activity is worship. The trick is to first always has intended us to worship activities and update it at any time because it can be changed. Second, make sure that what we do in accordance with the guidance (worship mahdhah) and not prohibited by law (Ghair mahdhah).
2. If life is a test, then there is no other way to align our lives, which is to live with patience.
3. If the Hereafter is better, then we must prioritize the afterlife. Not that renounced the world, but it makes life world as a preparation to the afterlife.
4. If this life is temporary, it is necessary to sooth (ihsan) in charity. No more relaxing, Dreaming- , prolongation of expectations thinking especially lazy because we are not live forever. Move now, act now, and better in goodness.

          Reality, what is in the Quran, is not doubtful, if there is an error that comes from my own mistakes. Hopefully our effortlessness to understand the meaning of life to make our lives more meaningful.
